Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a Substance Use Disorder Professional or Trainee (SUDP/T) for its White Center, WA department. The role involves direct counseling to patients with Substance Use Disorder, individually and in groups, with assessment responsibilities and potential licensure supervision.

Candidates must meet education requirements, hold or pursue SUDP/SUDPT certifications, and be prepared to follow organization policies and patient-centered integrated care.

Qualifications

• Required to have and maintain First Aid, CPR, and HIV certification.
• Preferred to have relevant work experience in the field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening and evaluation of individuals and refer them to treatment services as available.
• Provide individual and group counseling for persons with substance use and related mental health issues.
• Assist with implementing and reporting in the electronic health record system and program reports.
