Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane is seeking qualified counselors to support residents in emergency and transitional housing. You will provide on-site support, develop individualized plans and help clients access mental health, medical and social services.

Responsibilities include coordinating with healthcare providers, navigating legal obligations, and collaborating with peer support specialists and employment coaches to promote housing stability and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in behavioral health related field.
• Two years of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations.
• Experience in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• On-site support to residents in emergency or transitioning housing.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans focused on housing stability and behavioral health.
• Coordinate access to mental health, substance use, medical and social services.
• Assist clients with navigating legal obligations and court appearances.
• Collaborate with peer support specialists, health care providers and employment coaches.

Education
