Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor for Health Care Resource Centers in Massachusetts.

The role involves guiding patients through medically assisted treatment, leading group and individual sessions, and collaborating with clinicians to improve recovery outcomes. Candidates should pursue CADC certification, have experience with chemically dependent individuals, be comfortable with EMR systems, and pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
• Understanding of an EMR system (electronic medical records).
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental attitude toward our patient population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Coordinate care of assigned patients and present patient status to the treatment team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans per state regulatory requirements.
• Provide clinical services, patient care and education, and opiate addiction counseling.
• Excellent documentation and computer skills.
