Job summary

Health Care Resource Centers, a BayMark Health Services company, seeks a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor in Greenfield, MA to support patients through medically assisted treatment and recovery planning. You will conduct group and individual counseling, document progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.

The role requires CADC or progress toward CADC within 2 years, experience with chemically dependent individuals, a respectful, non-judgmental approach, and

Qualifications

• CADC certification or working toward CADC within 2 years.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Understanding of EMR system (electronic medical records).
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Coordinate care and present patient status to treatment team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop/implement treatment plans per state requirements.
• Provide clinical services and opiate addiction counseling.
• Maintain excellent documentation and computer skills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
