Comprehensive Treatment Centers in Medford, Oregon, is seeking a Substance Use Counselor for our Outpatient MAT program. This full-time role supports patients recovering from opioid use disorder through individual and group counseling, with morning hours 5:00 AM–1:30 PM.

You'll join a compassionate team, plan and document treatment, coordinate referrals, and participate in crisis intervention as needed. Eligible employees may access employer-paid supervision, CEUs, and EAP benefits.

Formación

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in social or health services preferred.
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with MAT (methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone).
• Experience conducting individual and group counseling.
• Knowledge of CBT, MI, relapse prevention techniques.
• Documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans per guidelines.
• Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2).

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality counseling in individual and group sessions.
• Plan and document patient recovery pathways.
• Co-facilitate group or family sessions as needed.
• Complete timely, clear documentation of patient care and incidents.
• Prepare individual treatment plans for each patient.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments.
• Assess needs and refer to other programs if needed.
• Plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Provide case management for individualized care.
• Liaise between referrals and patients.
