Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Case Manager in Augusta, MI to provide comprehensive substance abuse case management in a residential or clinical setting. You will conduct bio-psycho-social assessments, manage intake tasks, assist in discharge planning, and help develop group content.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and collaboration with nursing and admission teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and adherence to program policies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or mental health and a minimum of one year of substance abuse experience required.
• Minimum of one year of supervised substance abuse experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess prospective patients for treatment and determine admission suitability.
• Complete utilization review pre-certifications based on assessments.
• Administers breathalyzer and vital signs at intake and documents results.
