Pyramid Healthcare is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) to join our dedicated behavioral health team in Jacksonville, NC. You’ll work in a structured, supportive clinical environment focused on helping individuals achieve long‑term recovery from substance use and co‑occurring mental health disorders.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations
• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR/ECR)
• Participate in utilization review (UR) and treatment planning meetings
• Support aftercare planning, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Deliver crisis intervention and de‑escalation support when needed
• Contribute to program development, curriculum enhancement, and staff training
• Participate in on‑call rotation as assigned
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations, licensing standards, and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Active LCAS licensure in North Carolina (required)
• Master’s degree in:
  • Counseling
  • Social Work
  • Psychology
  • Or related behavioral health field
• Experience in substance use disorder (SUD), mental health, trauma‑informed care, or co‑occurring treatment settings (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Experience (Not Required But Valued)

• Group therapy facilitation in residential or outpatient settings
• Experience with evidence‑based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI)
• Familiarity with ASAM criteria or utilization review processes
• Experience working in structured clinical treatment programs
