New Season is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling as part of a collaborative treatment team. You will help identify and meet clinical needs to support patient well-being in an outpatient setting.

The position supports patients living with opioid use disorder and offers opportunity to contribute to a trusted national provider with 30 years in the field. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and relevant certifications are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• At least one of the following certifications required or preferred: ACIT II w/ MATS, CADAC II, CADAC IV, ICAC, ICAC II, MAC, NCAC I, NCAC II, NCAAC, LAC, or LAC-A.
• Experience in the substance abuse field preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within required timelines.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Provide at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one contact per week.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
