Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling. You’ll collaborate with our Medical Director, Program Director, and treatment team to identify clinical needs and support patient well‑being.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/CCJP/CCDP/CCDP-D/RADC/RADC-P license required.
• Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred.
• Ability to conduct individual, group, and family counseling.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group sessions.
• Develop and complete psychosocial and individualized treatment plans on time.
• Identify clinical or case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Maintain at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues and steps to recovery.
• Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient photo identification.
• Protect patient and program data and rights of the company.
