New Season is seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling. You will work with a collaborative team, including Medical Director and Treatment Services Coordinator, to address clinical needs and support patient well-being in the community.

In this role, you will handle intakes, treatment planning, and counseling, while ensuring documentation and compliance.

Formación

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related Human Services field.
• Experience in the substance abuse field preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Develop and update psychosocial and individualized treatment plans.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Achieve at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Obtain urine drug screens and verify patient identity.
• Protect proprietary data and act in the best interests of the program.
