New Season seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to engage patients through individual, group, and family counseling within a collaborative treatment team. The role focuses on identifying patient needs and promoting overall well-being through structured counseling sessions and treatment planning.

The organization has over 30 years of experience serving opioid use disorder patients and offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and referral bonuses to support staff and patient care

Qualificações

• CSAC with Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in the substance abuse field preferred.
• Ability to work with patients individually and in groups.

Responsabilidades

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group and family counseling as required.
• Ensure at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment and recovery processes.
• Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient photo ID.
