Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling as part of a collaborative treatment team including medical and program leadership. The role focuses on patients living with Opioid Use Disorder in our Colorado outpatient setting.

You will handle intakes, progress documentation, and treatment planning while meeting state requirements; starting pay is $27.00/hour with day-one benefits and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education/licensure per Colorado state requirements.
• Experience in substance abuse field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
• Identify and address clinical/case management needs.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
• Provide at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Perform Urine Drug Screens and obtain patient photo ID.
• Protect proprietary data and company rights.
