Job summary

New Season is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to collaborate with our treatment team to deliver individual, group, and family counseling. You’ll help identify patient needs, develop plans, and support well-being within a community-focused care setting.

Qualifications

• CSAC-S with Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress and develop treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide direct patient contact hours weekly (min 20 hours).
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient identification.
