Comanche Nation is seeking a Child Care Subsidy Specialist for the CN Child Care Programs. You will apply, interpret and explain eligibility for child care services and after-school programs, while performing clerical and administrative duties to meet federal grant requirements.

The Child Care Subsidy Specialist will be knowledgeable of the CN Child Care Programs to include the Child Care Development Fund Program, the Child Care Assistance & Family Enrichment program, and the ECDC program. This position will perform routine to difficult technical, clerical and administrative support duties. These duties will ensure that all program eligibility requirements are met according to the terms and conditions of the federal grant. The Child Care Subsidy Specialist performs responsible work involved with applying, interpreting and explaining eligibility requirements for child care services and for before and after-school programs. The Child Care Subsidy Specialist is responsible for clerical support and activities within the Child Care programs. This position will require in-depth program knowledge and customer service duties.The Child Care Subsidy Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring and enforcing Tribal Child Care Policy Guidelines in Tribally operated centers, provider approved centers and approved home child cares.

The Child Care Subsidy Specialist will be directly supervised by the Program Manager
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Being able to do light maintenance work to include: light cleaning office & areas used by the program to include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, & cleaning bathrooms.
Shopping for supplies, materials, and food in the local community.
