Job summary

DeepOcean US in Houston, Texas seeks a dedicated Tender Manager for a full-time role. You will manage the preparation and timely submission of competitive tenders while protecting the company's commercial interests through negotiation and pricing strategies.

You will build and maintain client relationships, lead tender reviews, and coordinate with regional management to expand into new territories. Travel and industry engagement are expected to support regional growth and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge base of industry.
• Development and maintenance of client relationships.
• Experience with proposal composition and application.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ROV and subsea operations preferred.
• Degree preferred.
• Self discipline; decisive thinker.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with potential customers and link to customers at appropriate stages in the project cycle.
• Liaise with internal teams to inform them of client information/requirements.
• Lead tenders ensuring all pricing and client expectations.
• Ensure company is pre-qualified with potential customers.
• Develop regional visit tracking and reporting activity.
• Develop local marketing plans in consultation with Commercial Manager and VP - Commercial.
• Attend industry trade shows/exhibitions.
• Develop strategy for entering new regional territories with Regional Management.
• Ensure invitation to tender packages are received.
• Review tender packages and develop tender strategy with Regional Sr Management.
• Lead tender review processes per DeepOcean guidelines.
• Lead commercial hand-over for awarded tenders to operations.
• Input to prospects and tender listing; prepare client contact reports.
• Attend exhibitions, conferences and briefings.
• Review media and provide reports/recommendations.
• Track tender and pricing status; provide feedback on tender presentation and pricing.
• Liaise with client post-submission; assist in clarifications.
• Lead or contribute to tender negotiations.
• Develop annual Business Plans for Senior Management review.
• Maintain client liaison after contract award; monitor progress and provide feedback.
