Leidos in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a production planning professional with Deltek Costpoint MRP experience to support multiple development and production programs in a manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and QA to ensure timely scheduling, maintain Kanban and burndown charts, and drive work orders to the floor; on-site role requiring citizenship and willingness to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Deltek Costpoint MRP or similar system.
• Familiarity with batch manufacturing practices and environments.
• Familiarity with high volume system integration efforts.
• Product development and production planning background with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to work productively, collaboratively, and independently.

Responsabilités

• Assisting in the production planning effort for multiple development and production programs.
• Coordinating with engineering, configuration management, production management and procurement to ensure accurate, timely scheduling of material and work order flow.
• Creating and maintaining the Kanban Board and Burndown Chart on the shop floor.
• Using MRP tool to drive purchasing and orchestrate kitting and Work Orders to production floor.
• Establishing standard work procedures aligned with project manufacturing methodologies.
• Collaborating with quality control, inventory management, manufacturing engineering and material planners to ensure synchronized operations.
• Gathering and delivering documentation to procurement to expedite purchasing.
• Resolving impediments to meeting delivery constraints.
