Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Kings Bay, GA is seeking a Production Planning professional to support manufacturing and production operations. You will create and maintain work instructions, service/production orders, and inspection instructions, coordinating with engineering and SPK teams.

The role requires strong Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint skills, plus the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. This is a fully onsite position with occasional off-hours support and the opportunity to contribute

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, production, or planning environments.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and service/production orders.
Coordinate day-to-day planning with production, engineering, and SPK organizations.
Monitor and resolve material requirements planning (MRP) issues to support inventory balances.
Develop planning tools using Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint; release production documents.
