Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Production Planning professional to support manufacturing and production operations in Kings Bay, Georgia. The role covers creation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions, service/production orders, and inspection instructions, coordinating with production, engineering, and SPK organizations.

You will monitor and resolve MRP issues to balance inventory with demand, develop planning tools in Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, and ensure processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, production, or planning environments.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Interim Secret required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions, service/production orders, and inspection instructions.
• Coordinate day-to-day with production, engineering, and SPK organizations.
• Monitor and resolve MRP issues to support inventory balances vs. demand.
• Develop planning resource tools using Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Ensure processing documentation is released to support master schedule requirements.
