Job summary

Leidos' Undersea Systems Division in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a production planning professional to lead scheduling and material flow for development and production programs using Deltek Costpoint MRP or similar systems.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to align work orders, manage Kanban and Burndown charts, and drive on-time delivery while upholding lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint MRP or similar system.
• Lean and batch manufacturing background.
• Product lifecycle experience from development through production.
• Experience with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Lynnwood, WA.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production planning effort for multiple development and production programs.
• Coordinate with engineering, configuration management, production management and procurement to schedule material and work orders.
• Create and maintain Kanban Board and Burndown Chart at the shop floor.
• Use MRP tool to drive purchasing and orchestrate kitting and Work Orders to the production floor.
• Establish standard work procedures consistent with project manufacturing methodologies.
• Collaborate with quality control, inventory management, manufacturing engineering and material planners to ensure synchronized flow.
• Gather and deliver documentation to procurement to expedite purchasing.
• Resolve impediments to achieving aggressive delivery constraints.
