Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Undersea Reconnaissance & Strike team in Quincy, MA. You will support rapid prototyping through rate production of advanced maritime systems, collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust, manufacturable hardware.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mechanical/mechatronics roles, experience moving designs from concept to shipped hardware, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment while pursuing active

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional mechanical/mechatronics engineering experience.
• Experience taking a design from concept through manufacturing and shipping hardware.
• Ability to work holistically on complex electromechanical systems and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the full product lifecycle from early prototype through rate production.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing to enable scaling from prototype to production.
• Navigate a dynamic trade space with external constraints and evolving requirements.
• Contribute as a member of a multi-disciplinary product team.
• Assess mechanical solutions for value, cost, manufacturability, and iterability.
• Make practical engineering trade-offs and maintain momentum.
• Interact with end-users to understand needs and incorporate feedback.
• Support integration and test activities.
