Anduril Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Copperhead family of autonomous underwater vehicles. You will design, develop, and deliver robust support systems for service, maintenance, deployment, and recovery, collaborating with electrical and systems teams and customer representatives to ensure effective mission execution.

The role requires hands-on fabrication skills, strong CAD (Siemens NX) capability, and the ability to lead design reviews and hardware testing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience with mechanical design and testing in maritime, aerospace, or defense systems, with maritime being preferred.
• Proven CAD skills (Siemens NX experience preferred) and the ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings that comply with common industry standards.
• Demonstrated hands‑on fabrication skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsabilidades

• Collaboratively design, develop, and deliver robust support systems for Copperhead UUVs deployment, recovery, operation, and maintenance.
• Work with electrical and systems teams and customer representatives to ensure effective support of Copperhead missions.
• Lead design reviews, conduct analyses, and prototype and implement hardware test plans.
• Define requirements, propose solutions, and establish verification methodologies for support systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated, cost-effective system solutions.
• Drive vendor engagement for components and outsourced manufacturing of support systems.
• Contribute to team tools, templates, processes, and standards.
• Foster a vibrant, high-energy team culture.
