We also welcome applications from candidates with prior experience and may consider placement at a higher level based on qualifications and relevant subrogation experience.Job Overview:This position is responsible for the investigation, negotiation and recovery of subrogation claims with appropriate supervision while working within specific limits and authority on assignments of low complexity. Coordinates with insureds, claimants, insurance representatives and attorneys during the pursuit of subrogation to maximize fair recoveries through negotiations. The selected candidate will start out in a role mainly focused on reviewing and preparing new subrogation files for demands to be sent. As experience is gained, and as opportunities present, they would then be transferred into a role focused on handling a backlog of pending subrogation matters. Excellent customer service and communication skills with our customers is expected.Responsibilities:Evaluate liability and damages to assess subrogation potential including consideration of jurisdiction regulations. Identify responsible party/parties and contribution potential. Review and determine the best course of recovery.Negotiate subrogation recoveries with carriers, responsible party(s), and other legal representatives through means of direct negotiation, intercompany arbitration, or other necessary methods.
