Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is a leading retail general contractor specializing in innovative construction projects across California and the western United States.

This role focuses on submittals and close-out, coordinating with project engineers, managers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery. You will learn company processes, utilize Sage 300 and Procore, and build strong relationships with field teams to support successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience reading project plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of general contracting and sub-contracting processes.
• Ability to learn how to effectively utilize Sage 300 and Procore.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook; able to edit/markup PDFs.
• GED or high school diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Learn the submittal process: review specs and plans, build the submittal log, request submittals from subs, submit to the architect for approval.
• Work with the project team to manage urgent and deferred submittals and other needs.
• Manage project submittals from start to finish with the PM, engineers, and coordinators.
• Collaborate with subcontractors on revisions and resubmittals as needed.
• Assist close-out with the PM and accounting to ensure paperwork is complete for final retention.
