Qualifications

• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to read measurements in U.S. and metric units.
• Ability to perform calculations and follow procedures accurately.
• Ability to meet production, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and perform maintenance on welding equipment.
• Perform Submerged Arc Welding to join metal components as specified.
• Read blueprints, determine operation sequences, and set up fixtures.
• Move and position pole shafts using overhead crane and conveyor systems.
• Work in a team to ensure on-time, quality fabrication.
