Emerge is seeking a Welder to build submarine-grade fabrications in Cleveland. You will weld carbon and stainless steels, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with Operations and Weld Engineering on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Experience welding Carbon, Stainless, or High Alloy steels.
• Experience with FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer.
• Experience welding thick to thin structural members.
• Strong overall mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Weld various parts in different materials.
• Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with Operations and Weld Engineering on projects.
• Grind, sand, and cut (oxy fuel and hand plasma).
• Adhere to lean manufacturing, quality, and safety programs.
• General welding and shop duties as needed.
