Job summary

A nationwide construction contractor is seeking skilled Welders to join their team for challenging projects across the US. The ideal candidates will have significant experience with various welding processes and previous fabrication of submarine parts would be preferred. This role offers a competitive hourly compensation of $50.00 – $50.50, alongside opportunities for overtime. Candidates must pass rigorous testing and meet all work authorization requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in welding.
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, willing to work long hours, safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding processes on various materials to required tolerances.
• Determine layouts and weld parts according to engineering specifications.
• Verify quality of welds in accordance with applicable standards.

Skills

Welding experience with GMAW-SP, GMAW-P, and SMAW

Ability to operate multiple types of welding equipment

Good troubleshooting / problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret drawings and weld symbols

Team player
