Amentum in Portsmouth, NH seeks a Submarine Technician with an active security clearance to support NAVSEA/DoD systems aboard U.S. submarines. You will install, test, and certify ISIS and RADAR systems while working across multiple submarine platforms.

The role involves troubleshooting, engineering change review, and creation of maintenance data, procedures, and drawings. Travel up to 15% is expected; strong maintenance and repair experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• HS Diploma/GED with 5 years' practical experience, or degree with 3 years.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing Submarine C5I systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Install, validate, and service ISIS and RADAR systems aboard U.S. submarines.
• Troubleshoot, perform corrective actions, and conduct electronic verifications.
• Review and support engineering change proposals and instructions.
• Create technical data, manuals, maintenance procedures, and drawings updates.
• Maintain documentation, logs, databases, and project tracking.
• Support engineering teams in installation, calibration, repair, testing, and operation.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specs and documentation requirements.
• Provide technical evaluations for components and system performance.
