Job summary
Amentum’s Submarine Technical Support Center in Groton, CT seeks a seasoned technician to join the team. You will troubleshoot, test, operate, repair and maintain submarine systems, providing direct fleet support across DAMA, DMR, and radio/CSRR domains.
Required are 6+ years on submarines, 8+ years in technical roles, and a TS clearance. Experience with LOS ANGELES and VIRGINIA class subs and CSRR policy is essential. Competitive benefits and SCA compensation details apply.
Qualifications
- Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
- Experience evaluating material condition of ship systems and implementing corrective action.
- Subject Matter Expert in CSRR policy and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical services (troubleshooting, testing, operation, repair/overhaul, maintenance oversight, installation, training, grooming) for submarine systems.
- Support direct fleet operations and responsiveness for 688/774 class submarines.
- Maintain CSRR components and associated subassemblies; apply fleet maintenance practices.
