Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat invites students to join the Platform Systems Engineering and Integration Summer Internship in Groton, CT, for 8 weeks during Summer 2027. The program exposes interns to cross-disciplinary submarine design work and MBSE methods with mentorship from senior engineers.

You'll perform assignments across requirements, integration, CONOPS, interface management, and model-based systems engineering while gaining hands-on experience on current and future programs, including

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• US citizenship is required.
• Must be able to pass a medical screening, drug test and background check.
• Must be enrolled full-time at a college or university.
• Freshman year completed before start date.
• Availability to work 40 hours/week for 8 weeks May–Sept 2027.
• Housing and transportation may be required for duration.
