Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time at a college or university.
• US citizenship is required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eight weeks minimum, 40 hours per week between May 2027 and September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support construction and welding activities in a high-tech naval environment.
• Welding procedure qualification efforts and documentation.
• Assist with database development and literature reviews.
• Shadow engineers to learn multiple welding engineering functions.
• Review vendor weld procedures for Navy compliance.
• Assist in material verifications and testing activities.
• Contribute to composite material specifications and repair procedures.
