Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a highly skilled NPES Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations and undersea warfare systems.

This role targets professionals with Navy Fire Control Technician or Fire Controlman background, capable of supporting operation, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of submarine fire control systems. The candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. DoW Secret clearance and will collaborate with Navy personnel, engineers, and program managers to ensure systems are mission-ready and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5+ years' DoW/Armed Services experience.
Experience with Navy fire control, combat control, or related tactical systems.
Ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance.
Strong reading of technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational expertise on Navy submarine fire control and related systems.
Support operation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fire control equipment.
Analyze performance and help identify hardware, software, and integration issues.
Coordinate with Navy personnel and contractors to resolve issues.
Prepare technical reports, briefings, and program documentation.
