Job summary
Serco is seeking an NPES Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations and undersea warfare systems.
The role requires hands-on Navy experience and the ability to maintain, test, and evaluate fire control and combat system equipment. You will work with Navy personnel, engineers, and program managers to ensure systems stay operational and mission ready, and you must be able to obtain a DoW Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Security clearance eligibility required.
- 5+ years’ DoW/Armed Services experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with Navy fire control systems and submarine platforms.
- Ability to obtain a DoW Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational expertise on Navy submarine fire control, combat control, and weapons systems.
- Support operation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fire control and combat system equipment.
- Analyze system performance and help identify hardware, software, and integration issues.
- Coordinate with Navy operators, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and evaluations for systems.
- Review documentation and maintain accurate baselines.
