Serco Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks a Configuration Management specialist to support the Navy Team Submarine program. The role requires an active DoW Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship, with at least 5 years of CM experience. You will lead PMS450 change management, document actions, and coordinate with shipbuilders and warfare centers. The position emphasizes process improvement, documentation standards, and leadership of junior CM staff.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (finance/economics acceptable).
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with the on-site construction division lead to execute CM workload.
• Document, track, and close actions related to PMS450 change management.
• Manage change requests, field modification requests, and vendor orders.
• Participate in shipbuilder and warfare center reviews and day-to-day tasking.
• Support release of drawings and configuration changes.
• Guide stakeholders on documentation standards and processes.
• Lead junior CM specialists and organize CM activities.
• Develop and edit customer deliverables and technical descriptions.
• Meet with SMEs to ensure appropriate coverage of topics.
