Serco Inc. is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to support the PMS450 Acoustics Systems Integration Team for the Virginia Class Submarine program. You will work at the Washington Navy Yard to provide technical and programmatic support, contribute to design evaluations, and coordinate with NAVSEA and customer stakeholders.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, a engineering degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Formación

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics or related field with 5 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to meet with program officials and influence actions needed to meet technical milestones.
• Experience briefing senior leaders.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Maintains expert knowledge of ship specification sections and interprets technical requirements for program compliance.
• Reviews technical and engineering submittals and provides assessments with options and pros/cons.
• Liaises with NAVSEA and technical warrant holders.
• Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
