Job summary

Rainbow Cone is opening a new location in Laguna Beach, CA, and seeks a capable restaurant manager to lead daily operations and guest service. You will coach the team, enforce safety standards, and ensure an outstanding ice cream experience for visitors.

This role requires prior supervisory restaurant experience, strong communication, and flexible availability including evenings/weekends. A California Food Manager Certificate is preferred or willingness to obtain it; benefits include competitive

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service and guest issue resolution.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CA Food Manager Certificate or willingness to obtain.

We are seeking a manager who will assist our franchise partner in bringing this delicious, nostalgia-inducing experience to families and visitors in Southern California!

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate, and lead team members to ensure the perfect ice cream experience for customers
• Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to all health and safety rules and regulations
• Manage all aspects of the operation using industry-leading tools
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
• Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Build and foster a positive culture that respects and celebrates all team members

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant environment
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage guest concerns
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends
• Driver's License
• California Food Manager Certificate or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Preferred cake decorating experience
