Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks an Associate Subcontracts Manager to oversee subcontract activities for a proposal or project, potentially leading office teams and guiding Subcontracts processes. This role emphasizes compliance, schedule adherence, and collaboration across offices and fields.

Required qualifications include a BA/BS in a related field and strong knowledge of construction processes. Travel and relocation may be required, with emphasis on ownership and teamwork in an ESOP

Qualifications

• Requires a BA or BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Business, Technical or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, construction execution, means & methods and construction equipment.
• All applicants must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and manages assigned subcontracts for projects.
• Ensures subcontract documents are issued on schedule.
• Assists with development and monitoring of project subcontract budgets and schedules.
• Assists with establishment and monitoring of subcontract goals.
• Leads negotiations for assigned subcontracts.
• Manages subcontract development processes including bid lists and RFPs.
• Follows and champions the Subcontracts process for office and field activities.
