Job Description

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Subcontractors Specialist.

Position Type: Full time Contract, possible extension
Duration: 2-3 months
Location: Malabar, FL (100% Remote)

• Responsible for the procurement of subcontracts including the management of cost, schedule and performance parameters.
• Implement sourcing strategies, assesses supplier risk (including financial)and develops mitigation plans.
• Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for achieving goals and objectives.
• May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area.
• Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
• Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
• Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
• Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $26 to $ $28/per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
