Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Engineering Technician for Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering in Malabar, FL. This is a Full-Time Contract role (Contract to hire) with a 12-month duration, open to W-2 engagement only.

The engineer will perform duties across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas, assist in building and testing equipment, calibrate and troubleshoot, and work from schematics and drawings to diagnose and improve systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

As an Engineering Technician, you will:

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $32-$34 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
