Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist III to manage the full subcontract lifecycle for EPC and power infrastructure projects, from bid evaluation to closeout.

You will develop RFPs, negotiate terms, administer agreements, and monitor performance, with travel for site visits as needed.

Collaborating with project management, procurement, legal, and operations, you’ll ensure contracts meet requirements and drive on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7-10 years in subcontracting, procurement, supply chain, or construction contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and subcontract administration in EPC environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with contract management and procurement systems.
  • Ability to travel periodically for site visits and project activities.

About this Role

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced and driven Subcontracts Specialist III to be responsible for managing the full subcontract lifecycle for EPC and power infrastructure projects, including subcontract solicitation, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout. This role partners with project management, procurement, legal, and operations teams to ensure subcontract agreements align with project requirements, company policies, and contractual obligations. Quanta Power Solutions delivers integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across the energy and power sector.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-10 years of subcontracting, procurement, supply chain, or construction contract administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, subcontract administration, and EPC/project delivery environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with contract management and procurement systems.
  • Ability to travel periodically for site visits, field verification, and project activities.
