Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL, seeks a Manager Subcontracts 2 to lead subcontracts in a challenging, on-site role within the Global Supply Chain team.

The position requires strong leadership, government-cleared experience, and a track record in managing complex subcontracts for U.S. Government and Commercial programs. On-site work in Melbourne with clearances and relocation support possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years in Subcontracts or Contracts, or Master’s with 3 years, or HS with 9 years.
• Must have Aerospace & Defense experience in Subcontracts or Contracts.
• Must have Subcontracts or Contracts with FAR/DFARS or Business Law.
• Experience presenting to all levels of internal/external management.
• Minimum 2 years leading a team, process, and/or projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret and Top Secret Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers subcontracts.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
