CesiumAstro, Inc. is hiring a Manager, Subcontracts in Westminster, CO to lead our subcontracting team across multiple programs. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiations, awards, administration, and closeout while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and government regulations.

You will collaborate with Program Management, Procurement, Legal, and Engineering to align execution with milestones and budgets. Strong leadership and domain expertise in FAR/DFARS are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, engineering, contracts management, or related field with 7–9 years of related experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership or management experience leading subcontract management, procurement, contracts, or related supply chain professionals.
• Advanced knowledge of subcontract management, government contracting, procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of FAR/DFARS requirements, contractual flowdowns, delegated procurement authority, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract personnel across assigned programs, including workload assignments and performance expectations.
• Establish team priorities and develop subcontract professionals through coaching and performance management.
• Lead subcontract activities involving solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, awards, and closeout.
• Develop subcontracting approaches for complex, high‑value requirements with cross‑functional coordination.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and delegation of procurement authority.
• Monitor subcontract costs, schedule, and supplier performance to identify issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Align subcontract execution with milestones, budgets, and customer commitments.
• Maintain subcontract metrics and portfolio reporting to provide visibility into risks and execution priorities.
