Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Subcontracts to lead a team responsible for subcontract execution across programs, suppliers, and business areas.

You will oversee sourcing, negotiations, awards, administration, change management, and closeout while ensuring compliance with policies and contractual requirements. You will establish priorities, allocate resources, mentor staff, and address complex supplier issues to support cost, schedule, technical, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related field with extensive subcontract management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS, subcontract lifecycle, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading subcontract management, procurement, or contracts teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate terms and manage complex supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontract professionals across programs, ensuring performance expectations.
• Develop subcontracting approaches for high-value, complex requirements.
• Oversee solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, awards, and closeout.
• Ensure governance, approvals, and delegated procurement authority are followed.
• Monitor costs, schedule, and supplier performance with corrective actions.
