Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manager, Subcontracts in Austin, TX to lead a team responsible for subcontract execution across programs and suppliers. You will handle sourcing, negotiations, awards, administration, and closeout while ensuring compliance with policies and contractual requirements.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to align milestones, budgets, and customer commitments, and manage governance, risk, and performance across the subcontract lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, contracting, or related field.
• 7–9 years in subcontract management or procurement with leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient negotiations, risk allocation, and supplier performance management.
• Experience with complex subcontract activities across programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract personnel across programs, including workload and performance.
• Set team priorities and develop staff through coaching and reviews.
• Lead solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, awards, and closeouts.
• Develop subcontract approaches for high-value, critical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with governance and Delegations of Procurement Authority.
• Monitor costs, schedule, performance, and risks; coordinate corrective actions.
