Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manager, Subcontracts to lead a team handling subcontract execution across programs, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies. You will drive negotiations, governance, and performance management with cross-functional partners to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, contracts management, or a related field with strong subcontract experience.
• Advanced knowledge of subcontract management, government contracting, procurement, and supplier relationship practices.
• Extensive experience with FAR/DFARS, flowdowns, and delegated procurement authority.
• Proficiency in negotiations, risk allocation, and contract change management.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract personnel across programs, workload assignments, resource allocation, and performance expectations.
• Lead negotiations, solicitations, evaluations, awards, modifications, disputes, and closeout.
• Develop subcontract strategies for complex, high-value requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with governance, standards, and DOPA.
• Monitor costs, schedule, supplier performance, and risks; coordinate corrective actions.
• Align subcontract execution with milestones, budgets, EACs, and customer commitments.
• Resolve supplier performance issues and contractual changes; escalate significant matters.
• Maintain subcontract metrics, portfolio reporting, and escalation processes.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
