Subcontracts Manager

Job Description

The Supplier Account Manager is responsible for initiating, developing, and implementing effective Supplier Performance and Relationship management programs to ensure performance (productivity, quality, sustainability, and delivery), growth, and innovation, while effectively managing risk and spend.

Your role:
  • Understand the full business relationship with each assigned supplier, including market position, strengths, weaknesses, strategic direction, investment plans, cost competitiveness, capabilities, and capacity, with relevant product knowledge.
  • Manage supplier performance to meet annual operating targets.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute supplier account strategies, identifying areas for improvement (cost, delivery, quality, responsiveness, innovation) and future business opportunities.
  • Drive impact on bottom and top line through supplier performance development and innovative negotiation approaches.
  • Drive compliance, contract, and risk management.
You're the right fit if you have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience as a strategic buyer, site project procurement manager, or business process engineer.
  • A proven track record in strategic procurement; technical background is a plus.
  • Broad experience with electro-mechanical and electronic components (cables, batteries, power supplies, ASICs, PCBs, passives); medical industry experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in innovative supplier relationship management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate with management teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a matrix and remote environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle uncertainty in challenging environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodations.
How We Work Together

We believe in working better together. Office-based teams work in person at least 3 days a week. Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities. Field roles are typically outside main facilities, at customer or supplier locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range in Washington is $99,960 to $159,936. Actual offers depend on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses, stock plans, and benefits. Details can be found on our benefits page.

Additional Information

US work authorization is required. Sponsorship is not available. Relocation benefits are not provided. Candidates must reside in or near Bothell, WA. The position remains active for 45 days or until filled. Apply promptly.
