Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to support contracts functions at the Paducah site. Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, reviewing bid tabulations, and shaping subcontract scope, terms, and commercial terms.

The role requires a BA/BS with 5+ years' experience, strong knowledge of FAR/DEAR, DOE L clearance or ability to obtain, and the ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines. This position may involve travel to job sites and working under safety policies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations (FAR/DEAR).
• DOE L clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to which proposals may be submitted and compile bid packages.
• Review bid tabulations and modify the scope, terms and commercial terms of contracts.
• Coordinate with disciplines to summarize bid proposals and present recommendations to project management.
• Conduct pre-award conferences with contractors and clients to ensure understanding of the subcontract.
• Award contracts via phone, telex, or letter and administer contracts per FAR/DEAR and project procedures.
• Prepare subcontract documents and route for signature; track deliverables and ensure compliance.
• Monitor contractor adherence to schedules and approve payments when appropriate.
• Maintain safety policies and participate in Safety Work Groups.
