Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory in Utah seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to manage federal and commercial subcontracts through all contract phases. You will draft, review, negotiate, and close subcontracts while ensuring compliance with FAR, UCC, ITAR, and internal policies.

The role requires strong communication with sponsors and investigators, plus proficiency in MS Office and databases. Travel may be required and a U.S. citizenship is needed for security clearance considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of FAR/UCC, NASA FAR Supplement, ITAR and related regulations.
• Experience with review and flow-down of contract requirements to suppliers.
• Ability to communicate with sponsors, investigators, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office and internal databases.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive and detail oriented.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and edits subcontracts, consulting agreements, and other contracting documents; submits for review and signature.
• Reviews subcontract documents to ensure required clauses and terms are included.
• Performs pre-negotiation research and fact-finding to support negotiations.
• Processes subcontract invoices, as assigned.
• Ensures subcontract actions are authorized and properly documented; closes files per requirements.
