Sierra Space is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to lead the full lifecycle of complex subcontracts from solicitation to close‑out, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and company policies. You will craft agreements, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships to align with program objectives.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional leadership, risk management, and mentorship of junior staff while coordinating with leadership and external partners to drive on‑time, on‑budget subcontract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced understanding of subcontracting strategies and full lifecycle management.
• Expertise in government and commercial contracting regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• Strong risk management and dispute resolution knowledge.
• Advanced project management and strategic sourcing skills, including negotiations.
• Familiarity with cost and fixed price contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation and administration of complex subcontracts.
• Develop strategies for subcontractor selection and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior subcontract administrators.
