Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator in Paducah, KY to manage contract scope, terms, and commercial aspects with suppliers and clients. Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, reviewing proposals, and guiding pre-award conferences to ensure alignment with FAR/DEAR and project procedures.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and 5 years of experience, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of related experience typical; 5–8 years range.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to submit proposals and compile bid packages.
• Review bid tabulations and modify scope, terms and commercial terms of contracts.
• Coordinate with disciplines to summarize bid proposals and seek management approval.
• Conduct pre-award conferences with contractors and clients to align understanding of the subcontract.
• Award contracts via phone, telex or letter and close contracts per FAR/DEAR and project procedures.
• Prepare subcontract documents incorporating changes as specified by parties and route for signature.
• Track status of deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• May relocate to job site to negotiate variances and monitor contractor compliance.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed and participate in Safety Work Groups.
