Job summary

Optus is seeking a Subcontractor Coordinator to work with our subcontractors to negotiate pricing and ensure coverage for serviced markets. You will support updating, reporting, and analyzing vendor data and service metrics, while collaborating with leadership to improve processes.

The role emphasizes negotiation, relationship management, and data-driven decision making, with a requirement for a BA/BS and 2–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Make calls to qualify and solicit new subcontractors.
• Coordinate email and direct mail campaigns to recruit, qualify, and add subcontractors.
• Manage the subcontractor agreement process, including pricing negotiation, confirming technical skill sets, insurance verification, and meeting defined response times.
• Analyze vendor database by geography to identify coverage weaknesses and opportunities.
